What a great week! Well to be honest, nothing
really eventful happened and since we don’t have any investigators we searched
for new people to teach the entire time. We didn’t have any success but I have
learned so much this week. I love the little victories here in the Açores--like
talking to people and making them smile or just testifying to anyone. I know that God will place his children who
are ready to hear our message in our path, now it’s our job to give them the
message and be representatives of him.
The small victories keep me moving along and I love learning about the
gospel. I love it so much!
Something that was fun this week was planning
an activity for the branch. My comp and I saw how the branch was dying a little
so we thought it would be a good energizer to have a fun activity. We were
thinking of ideas and I remembered how we always go to the Judds for
Thanksgiving and play "Minute to Win it Games"! I thought it would be a great idea so we came
up with 10 or so games and split into 2 teams.
It was so fun and the members really liked it. Sometimes just being together and having a
good time is important—some said that they haven’t had an activity that fun for
years.
It rained every day this week and we did
burn all the photos of Elder Noquiera’s ex girlfriends (another story).
We have zone conference tomorrow and
I am way excited!! We spent time with the AP´s and we will meet up with
President and Sister Tavares for the rest of p-day. So yeah, nothing really new
but man do I love this gospel and this mission. This is the true church of
Jesus Christ!!
