This week was a hard one for sure! We had my last zone conference as well as the last zone conference of President and Sister Tavares. It was so rough. In the beginning they had all the people who were ending their missions give their testimony which caught me off guard. I stood up and before I could say anything I just started balling...I hate crying in public but man I just couldn’t help it. It hit me like a truck that I was ending my mission and wouldn’t have these amazing experiences and feelings every day. In my testimony I spoke about how I have come to know Christ. I feel like my mission was successful because I have worked on my flaws and am not the same person who left two years ago. The conference was awesome because President and Sister Tavares talked about what they have learned and gave us some advice.

President invited me to go eat lunch with them right before they left for Brazil. I was an emotional wreck that day, saying goodbye to them. There were many tears shed but man I am so thankful that the Lord put us together and I will never forget the things they taught me.

We are teaching Duarte, he is from Guinea Bissau and is really smart. We were teaching him in the chapel about the Holy Spirit and how he will receive it after baptism.  Then a member walked in and introduced himself and testified about baptism. Duarte pointed his finger at the man and said, "I can see it! I can see that you two and that member look different because of the Holy Spirit and I want that!" I am excited to keep working with him!

Funny story about how we got stuck in an elevator this week for about 30 minutes.  At first it was funny but then it got super hot and I wanted to die!

Davi got baptized this week and it was great! He has been searching for so long and it was so good to see him enter into the water!!!

We had some SCARY things happen this week but I will just keep it chill for a little. All in all it was a good week! Love you all!
