Well this week was a blur. We
taught a few lesson but none of the people are really progressing. We are still
working with Luis who will be baptized in a couple of weeks! Sadly, I won’t be
able to be there since I am getting
transferred.
My new area is TAVIRA!! It’s in Algarve, a
beautiful tourist area in the south, right on the ocean. The area is pretty large and the closest big
city is Seville Spain! It is about 290 kilometers or 2.5 hour drive from
where I am now. I hear it’s so great with
amazing beaches. I haven’t met my new
companion but I heard that he is from Mexico and doesn’t speak one word of
English. Also, he has only been out on
his mission one transfer more than me.
We are white washing (both totally new to that area). Also, it’s a
branch that has about 6-10 members, so it will be an adventure!!
My life as a greenie
is over!!!!! I loved Miratejo and the people there but at the same time am
excited to meet others and go explore more of this amazing country that I love! I know this will be a challenge but I am so
excited for it!
I dropped some things off at the mission office
today and talked to President and Sister Tavares. I love them so much!
Sorry this is so short
but unfortunately I don’t have a lot of time because I am leaving tomorrow and
need to pack and say goodbye! I love you all.

PS Thanks for the letters and pictures. I thought a lot about Tessa and Sammy getting married this past week. I am so happy for them and glad that Sammy is my new brother-in-law! Wished I could have been there and for the sealing in the temple. I was there in spirit and glad you had the cut out of me for the pictures!
